Tradesmen International is hiring an experienced Solar PD-10 Operator to support a growing commercial solar project in Muscatine, Iowa. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of PD-10 operating experience.
POSITION DETAILS
• Job Title: Solar PD-10 Operator
• Project: Commercial Solar Project
• Location: Near Grandview, Iowa
• Pay Rate: $50.16 per hour (Prevailing Wage)
• Per Diem: $140 per day worked
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x10s (50 hours per week)
• Duration: 2–3 months
• Start Date: ASAP
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Solar PD-10 Operator will be responsible for operating specialized heavy equipment to drive and install steel foundation piles and solar racking posts for commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) farms.
Responsibilities include:
• Operating PD-10 pile-driving equipment to install steel foundation piles and solar racking posts.
• Performing site grading, trenching, and material movement as needed.
• Conducting daily equipment inspections and ensuring safe equipment operation.
• Assisting with general labor tasks as required.
• Maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
• Following project specifications, safety procedures, and site requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 4 years of Solar PD-10 operating experience.
• Experience operating specialized pile-driving heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of solar foundation pile and racking post installation.
• Ability to perform site grading, trenching, and material handling.
• Strong commitment to job-site safety.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts.
