Contract / Temp to Direct / Direct Hire: Direct Hire

Applies strong electrical technical expertise and project management practices. Participates as a member of the project team, coordinates with Area Superintendent, Superintendent, and/or other field personnel to ensure jobs are completed within the time, budget and specifications assigned.
Participates in the project through all phases of the project cycle, estimating, design, development, construction, construction billing, and final acceptance.
Essential Functions/Other Duties:
Assures compliance with Company safety policies and OSHA safety standards.
Maintains budget and assures cost spending is kept within budget.
Responsible for weekly reporting, monthly projection, and scheduling updates as they relate to the electrical phases of a project.
Assures daily electrical quantities are collected and entered into accounting software system.
Monitors project performance and identifies areas where new/improved planning can improve the quality of existing services as well as recommend means for improvement, including procedural steps, increased training, and enhanced documentation.
References baseline schedule for the job to monitor and act upon schedule progression.
Documents any delays and/or changes to scope of work.
Generates electrical change orders as needed.
Maintains electrical as-built drawings and turnover packages to include pre-functional testing, turnover documentation, and vendor package paperwork.
Coordinates with inspection staff to ensure all testing, and sign-offs are being completed.
Manages the commissioning process.
Participates in all meetings and other functions as a member of the project management team.
Generates RFIs as needed.
Maintains working relationships with others in the company.
Motivates and maintains positive morale of the crews.
Interfaces with the project owners on a weekly basis.
GED or High School diploma as a minimum.
(7 )years of experience in electrical construction or BS in a related field and minimum (3) years of electrical construction experience. Prior Project Management experience required. MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE SOLAR PV UTILITY SCALE GROUND MOUNT EXPERIENCE.
Strong understanding of the National Electric Code.
High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic.
Ability to think independently and be a problem solver.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with reading blue prints, plans, specs, contracts, purchase orders, etc.
Strong planning and scheduling skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite-Excel/Word.
Knowledge of municipality, state and/or federal licensure requirements.
Coordinates with the Estimating Department for all pricing and change orders.
Coordinates all material purchases directly or through the Logistics Department based on project organization.
Valid driver license with acceptable driving record in accordance with Company policy.
