Perform oversight of all pipeline-related engineering work products (calculations, design, specifications, etc.)
Provide technical leadership to other engineers
At the commencement of each project, identify, plan and schedule engineering and design tasks required within the project
Provide on-the-job training for junior engineers
Function as interface between engineering teams, management and clients
Ensure that all engineering work is done in accordance with applicable regulations, codes and, company and client’s policies and procedures
Provide quality control checks of all pipeline engineering documents
Participate in project scoping and cost estimates
Provide pipeline routing and facility design requirements


Design Basis Memorandum, design specifications and procedures
Pipeline stress calculations
Hydrostatic pressure test calculations and plans
Cost estimates
Pipe sizing calculations
Buoyancy control calculations and studies
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Review and provide engineering input guidance for:
Plan and profile alignment sheets
Permit drawings (road, railroad, and waterbody crossings)
Typical detail drawings
Hydrostatic test drawings
Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) drawings
Grading Plans and site-specific drawings
QA/QC deliverables
Other duties as assigned
