Contract / Temp to Direct / Direct Hire: Contract

Large energy client seeks an entry or developmental level Solar Project Engineer to join their team in the Northeast/ Massachusetts area. Will provide engineering support in designated company area, or specific engineering discipline. Position involves travel to various clients site. 5+ month contract.
Per diem and Mob/Demob included!
2+ years working with solar utilities preferred
- Basic knowledge of engineering concepts, fundamentals and theory. Oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing). Effective decision making skills. Computer skills and application of software programs. Analytical and abstract thinking skills. Problem solving skills. Ability to learn to apply engineering theories and concepts to complex problems.
-Ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices. Ability to develop effective planning, project and organization skills. Ability to develop project management skills and to handle multiple tasks. Ability to work within a team environment.
- Education: Bachelors required, Discipline Required: Engineering
Perform engineering calculations, analysis, research and design.
- Under direction of supervisor or work leader, performs routine assignments designed to develop professional engineering work knowledge, gain familiarity with techniques, approaches, practices and the nature of engineering systems, equipment, etc. and to develop the ability to apply fundamental engineering principles and techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out sequence of related engineering tasks.
- Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
