WFG Industrial has been retained in a recruiting capacity by our Client.
We are currently seeking candidates for The Director of Remediation. This is a temporary to permanent position.
The Director will be required to supervise and manage all aspects of Remediation projects simultaneously or intermittently as the case may be and also strive to enhance the commercial value of the business. This role entails working hand-in-hand with project managers to make sure we meet our proposed schedule, work within our project budgets and insure efficient allocation of resources.
Oversee construction sites, project managers, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
Staff projects with appropriate personnel and/or subcontractors.
Create and/or review Requests for Information, Change Orders and material requests.
Guarantee that all work is performed in accordance with approved plans and procedures.
Provides technical support to Project Managers.
Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records.
Perform change order estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
Coordinate and monitor schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
Assist in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors’ construction schedules.
Review weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
Reports the status of projects to Leadership Team.
Will be required to work nights and weekends as requested and travel.
Attend client program meetings as needed.
10 years Construction Management and/or 10 years executive management in the construction industry
4 year degree in construction science or engineering
Xactimate certified preferred
Eligible to operate a motor vehicle
Ability to travel to project sites which may be in remote locations·
May require working in extreme hot or cold weather conditions. Requires working standing on feet most of the workday. May require working in cramped or uncomfortable positions, with sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking bending and kneeling. May be required to wear respiratory equipment when required. May require using equipment and lifting from 50 Lbs. Strength rating -Moderate.
Base pay determined on experience.
