Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to find a SWD and Water Transfer Operator to work on a 12-month contract in Douglas, WY.
The Operator is responsible for the overall daily operation and maintenance of a water evaporation and truck offload facility.
Performs routine and structured work assignments. Contributes to tasks within a team, function, or work group. Basic knowledge of processes for the assigned work. Exercises limited independent judgment, relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines. Works under direct supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain compliance with HSE policies and demonstrate the ability to respond quickly and confidently to safety and environmental events.
Possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist.
Perform operational checks of equipment and facilities.
Measure and record volumes.
Ensure accuracy of data received and entered.
Coordinate truck offloads and input truck tickets.
Develop understanding of the operation of all equipment on assigned facility.
Identify issues and learn appropriate solutions under supervision while consulting with the appropriate Foreman.
Perform routine repairs and maintenance on all equipment.
Communicate corrective maintenance needs if unable to complete on own.
Develop leadership skills and emotional intelligence while maintaining a positive attitude.

Assist the appropriate Foreman with minimizing LOE costs.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with government officials, landowners, and third-party contractors.

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License
May require the ability to pass a respiratory fit test
An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for extended period of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time.
Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers.
Capable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all types of weather conditions.
Ability to one arm carry up to 25lbs. without assistance.
Regular bending, crouching, pulling, and kneeling to check equipment and gauges.
Must be able to exert up to 50lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20lbs. frequently to move or manipulate objects.
Ability to work significant amounts of time as required in completing job responsibilities.
Working environment includes exposure to extremely loud noises in field, hazardous chemicals, and hydrocarbons that may be under extreme pressure for which appropriate safety measures are required.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
