Airswift is looking for a Field Service Technician to work with a major client in New Braunfels, TX on a 6-month contract.  

Responsibilities:  

Install new products/equipment and test them to ensure they are working correctly 

Proficient in performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, encompassing hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical components 

Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing various electrical components, such as PLCs, relays, fuses, motors, pumps, and screw/screw motors 

Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them 

Work with Procurement team to order parts for repair if needed 

Perform maintenance and provide customer support 

Educate the client on how to use and maintain equipment/plant 

Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers 

Build and maintain relationships with customers 

Requirements:  

Travel requirements for this job are approximately 70% 

Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot Liquefaction equipment including compressors 

Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams 

Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule 

Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills 

Working knowledge of the compressors and other Liquefaction equipment  

Ability to work independently without much supervision 

Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces 

driver's license and acceptable driving record 

Ability to effectively manage time
