Job Summary:  
Are you a skilled Electrical Technician looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our team at PIC Group, where you'll play a vital role in supporting two cutting-edge solar sites located in Odessa, TX, and Fort Stockton, TX. As a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Electrical Technician, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of these sites. This is a hands-on role where you'll conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, with the flexibility to work from home and travel to sites as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Conduct all work activities in a professional and safe manner.
•    Assures operational efficiency, unit reliability and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
•    Maintain, troubleshoot and repair of site electrical equipment related to BESS
•    Performs predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
•    Monitoring and operating plant equipment and responding to emergencies.

Job Requirements:
•    Ability to work overtime as needed & non-standard working hours as required for call outs
•    Able to replace/install hardware, inverters, monitoring equipment and any other component within the BESS site
•    Preparing reports, if needed to comply with deliverables in O&M contracts
•    Attending training sessions on equipment as provided by the manufacturer.
•    Working with computer systems and software, and the ability to read technical manuals and drawings
•    Driving on company business is a requirement of this position and as such, the incumbent shall have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
•    Requires wearing personal protective safety equipment (respirators, safety glasses, hard hat, appropriate footwear, ear plugs, etc.)
•    Competent skills using Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Excel, Word
•    Must be able to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures and regulations

Physical Requirements:
•    Physical requirements include lifting 50lbs, standing for long periods, walking, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling etc.

Education / Experience:
•    Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting BESS systems preferred but related applicable experience is acceptable (training will be provided regarding BESS equipment)
•    3+ years of electrical technician working experience in field is needed 
•    Solar electrical experience is a plus
