System One is currently seeking a High Voltage Electrical Inspector on a 12 month contract located in Becker, MN.

High Voltage Electrical Inspector Responsibilities:
Construction and commissioning of high voltage substations associated with the solar project.
Involved in the communication and planning for installation and commissioning of the entire substation. There are coordination meetings with transmission installation and with substation construction.
Work in the office doing research, planning and review of execution plans, lack of takeout plans, commissioning plans, etc.
Will also be in the field verifying that the contractors are installing and executing per plan.

High Voltage Electrical Inspector Requirements:
Previous knowledge of high voltage electricity, substations, transmission lines and their associated components.
5-7 years of Substation construction and commissioning experience with high voltage energy installations.
Equipment installations and the theoretical understanding how switching and that kind of stuff works.
Experience in the installation and the commissioning of high voltage sub yards with that five plus years in the supervisory level experience.
Strong communication skills.

Pay Rate: $60-62/hr
PD: $178/day
