Looking for a safety specialist for a wind farm project - 1.5 year project. Hourly rate plus per diem
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at various facilities to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and deliver safety training sessions for employees and contractors, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and equipment operation.
Investigate and document safety incidents, near-misses, and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
Maintain and analyze safety data, preparing reports on safety performance metrics and identifying trends for continuous improvement.
