JM Test Systems' Field Services division is seeking a Site Logistics Coordinator to join our team, working directly on a client project.
In this crucial role, you'll be the central point for all on-site logistics and coordination, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and information for the project. You'll work closely with project management, assisting with reports on progress and schedule compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Management: Oversee the receipt, documentation, cataloging, indexing, and storage of all project equipment and shipments. This includes verifying deliveries, ensuring proper storage, and documenting any transit damage.
Project Support: Assist the Project Engineer with various project management tasks and provide essential intelligence and escalations back to the project team regarding logistics.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive daily log of site activities, including weather conditions, change orders, site visitors, decisions, and general observations. Prepare reports related to project progress and contractor compliance.
Liaison & Communication: Act as a key liaison between the client and the Project Manager, ensuring clear and timely communication regarding logistics and site operations.
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will have a construction-type background with a strong understanding of construction and safety processes. You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator, capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
