JM Test Field Services is seeking multiple Substation Commissioning Managers to support, define and organize the start-up, testing and commissioning activities for multiple solar substation projects. This individual will work to ensure all job tasks related to plant start-up and commissioning are planned for and completed within pre-established schedules. This individual will be required to secure and maintain strong working relationships with our client's corporate support functions, along with various contractors and key equipment vendors.
Preferred Background:
· Self starter with a high drive for quality, execution, and safety

· 5 years experience in on-site project support for renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioning

Required Skillsets:
· Electrical construction and commissioning means and methods knowledge including NEC and NFPA

· Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) integration and troubleshooting

· E&I controls and instrumentation installation, startup and troubleshooting

· Protection and Controls implementation and troubleshooting

· Drawing review quality control inspection

· Progress reporting

· Computer skills Outlook, PDF edit Word, Excel, document control systems and PowerPoint

· Management of third parties and suppliers

· Management of direct report team members

· Schedule and planning understanding
