Integral Energy Services client is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer for a 3-to-6-month contract with possibility to go perm. (Remote w/ heavy travel)
Applicants must be located on the East Coast.
Industry background: Industrial, Power plant or Energy Storage is preferred.
Job Description: will travel to various job sites to commission systems, complete
maintenance work, troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, warranty service, and ensure energy storage systems are working to their full capacity.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Industrial
Maintenance Power plant or energy storage experience is beneficial but not required.
Applicants must be located on the East Coast.
What you�ll be doing:
� Work independently and as a team to drive maximum technical support to Energy Storage
customers.
� Follow safety initiatives in the field. Make sure to comply with local regulations (i.e OSHA).
� Escalate high level site problems on site to supervisor and Engineering teams. Work with
Engineering teams to provide a quick communication and solution to customers.
� Collaborate with Technical Support group on after hours support.
� Help with creating monthly site reports for the customer (if required).
� Coordinate spare parts supply required for O&M, and provide updates of local spare inventory.
� Coordinate the help of local partners for site activities.
� Create and manage service cases for the site on a timely manner.
� Document site visits and product analysis to enable continuous improvement of troubleshooting
procedures, product installations, and product robustness.
� Lead the execution of system commissioning.
� Actively engage in field dispatches as needed by key customers.
� Participate partner product training programs and be certified to service them.
� Actively engage in technical discussions with inverter and EMS partners to troubleshoot.
� Partner with other teams to ensure delivery of an exceptional customer service, as needed.
� Investigate, respond to and generate reports on field incidents involving batteries.
� Conduct basic and advanced log analysis on batteries and inverters.
� Conduct warranty and O&M service work as needed.
Your qualifications:
� 5+ years� work experience in field service role or equivalent.
� Experience as a technician or engineer is required.
� Prior solar/energy industry experience preferred, or similar.
� Proven track record of completing tasks with minimum supervision.
� Strong customer service skills, able to communicate effectively.
� Traveling: 50% - 75%.
