Description:

The Construction Manager is responsible for on-site supervision, coordination, control and/or technical support of construction maintenance and repair operations, while ensuring Company interests are protected. Proactively develop and implement measures to improve operations and customer satisfaction. The Construction Manager establishes the site office and facilities and manages the workforce population and skills based on project requirements. Requires 10+ years of experience. Key Responsibilities - Manages overall construction work, ensuring correct crew sizing and tools and equipment required for the job. - Directs the activity of Construction Superintendents, Certified Weld Inspectors and Field Engineers - Primary interface with other non-Alstom Site Managers - Manages the process controls for welding, preheating, post weld heat treating, PQR processes and welder qualification program - Ensures quality and safety plans are implemented on a daily basis - Support Site Manager with issuing weekly and monthly reports detailing safety, quality, human resource, financial and schedule status of the project - Identifies and assists with resolution of construct ability issues as they arise.

API 1169 (required for Pipeline Inspectors)
First Aid/CPR, Global Harmonized Systems, OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (or OSHA Equivalent*) (training needs to be within last five years).
Minimum years as Worker: 10.
Minimum years as Supervisor: 5.
