Pay Range: $111,400 – $195,200 (based on level and experience)
Work Hours: 100% Travel – 3 weeks on-site (Monday–Saturday), 1 week home rotation

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to support large-scale wind and industrial construction projects across the United States. This role is responsible for leading field operations, developing and driving project schedules, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of work across multiple crews and subcontractors.
The Superintendent will coordinate planning, logistics, manpower, and execution activities while maintaining strict alignment with project schedules and milestones. This role requires strong leadership in fast-paced environments and the ability to manage diverse teams across multiple disciplines.
Key focus includes schedule ownership, field coordination, subcontractor management, and continuous improvement of construction processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading from the field while maintaining strong communication with project management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
• Develop, own, and manage project schedules including 3-week, 6-week, and long-range lookaheads
• Plan and implement project execution to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections align with schedule requirements
• Review construction documents for completeness, constructability, and coordination with design teams
• Lead and supervise assistant superintendents, subcontractors, and craft labor
• Conduct site orientations, safety meetings, and daily/weekly planning sessions
• Manage site logistics, manpower, tools, and equipment utilization
• Track production, progress, and quality against schedule commitments
• Mentor and develop field leadership including foremen and general foremen
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Identify risks, resolve field conflicts, and drive schedule recovery when needed
• Promote continuous improvement in field execution and productivity

Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Architectural Engineering OR 10+ years of construction experience
• Minimum 5 years (Level I) or 8+ years (Level II) superintendent or field leadership experience
• Proven ability to build, manage, and drive construction schedules in the field
• Experience in industrial, utility, infrastructure, or large-scale commercial construction
• Strong leadership experience managing crews, subcontractors, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-production environments
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel 100% with rotating schedule (3 weeks on / 1 week off)
