The primary purpose of this position is to: Assists in the development, coordination, and writing of emergency operations plans, procedures, and supporting planning documents. Provides training in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Defense and specialized emergency response teams. Operates in the Emergency Operations Center. Responds to major accidents and hazardous material spills and provide sampling and advice to the incident commander. Receives, reviews, maintains, and reports appropriate emergency operations data and information for response activities before, during, and after natural disasters events, and/or civil disturbances and man-made/technological disasters.
Qualifications and Skills
2+ years related experience in Emergency Management
3E9X1 Apprentice Course Certification REQUIRED
DoD Hazardous Material Technician Level Certification REQUIRED
