Engineering Manager

Seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with 10+ years leading nuclear construction and EPC projects. Field-experienced leaders only.
Nuclear Construction (Heavy Civil / Industrial)

Work Location: Denver, CO OR Kansas City, KS
Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate's requested rate
Per diem: $178.00/day (7 days per week)
Mob / Demob: $500.00 each ($1,000 total)
Hours: Full Time (40hrs / wk)
Duration: Long Term - individual may choose the option of going direct after 6 months (not required)

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor engineering teams through all project phases from design through commissioning
• Establish engineering standards and quality control protocols for nuclear construction requirements
• Coordinate with project management to deliver engineering scope on schedule and within budget
• Ensure compliance with nuclear industry codes, regulations, and NQA-1 quality standards
• Resolve technical challenges and provide engineering solutions for construction issues
• Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and engineering firms on technical matters

Required Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor's degree Engineering - in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• PE license preferred and PMP preferred

Experience
• Minimum 10 years progressive engineering experience in heavy civil, industrial, or related sectors
• Minimum 5 years direct nuclear industry experience (power generation, DOE facilities, nuclear infrastructure)
• Engineering management experience leading teams of 5+ engineers
• Proven project management experience with scope, budget, and schedule responsibility
• Heavy civil, mining, tunneling, or related construction experience

• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strategic problem-solving with focus on practical solutions
• Commitment to safety culture and nuclear industry standards

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 - 60 lbs.
