System One is seeking experienced Field Technicians to support government projects at facilities nationwide.
MUST HAVE
U.S. Citizen
Able to pass a federal government background investigation
Able to pass a drug test
Valid driver's license in good standing
Reliable personal vehicle
Willing and able to travel 100% nationwide
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in outdoor/extreme weather conditions
POSITION
Hands-on field position supporting the installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical, electronic, communications, and infrastructure systems at government facilities throughout the United States.
Responsibilities may include:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and test electrical/electronic equipment
Install and repair wiring, cabling, fiber optics, connectors, and communications equipment
Install cable tray, conduit, equipment racks, grounding, and power circuits
Troubleshoot systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and test equipment
Perform soldering, splicing, calibration, alignment, and system testing
Install and troubleshoot sensors, computers, radios, antennas, and other electronic equipment
Complete field redlines and support as-built documentation
Work independently at various government facilities and project locations
IDEAL BACKGROUND
Experience in any of the following is highly relevant:
Electronics | Electrical | Telecommunications | Fiber Optics | Avionics | Radio/Communications | Instrumentation & Controls | Military Electronics | Field Service
Military electronics/electrical experience is highly valued.
TRAVEL & SCHEDULE
This is NOT a regional position. Candidates must be willing to travel anywhere in the United States.
100% travel required
Work schedules vary by project
4x10 and 5x8 schedules possible
Overtime may be available but is not guaranteed
Home time is expected approximately every 6 weeks for about 1 week of unpaid downtime
Eligible lodging, meals/incidentals, and mileage are reimbursed according to project requirements.
GOVERNMENT SECURITY
Candidates must successfully complete the required federal background investigation before starting. The investigation may include criminal, fingerprint, financial, and other federal security screening.
