Job Summary
Understands and analytically evaluates the process of production machines (For example understands what are the root causes of bad surface finish or runout or inconsistencies of a machined part)
Understands the status of production and quality (SPC, Cpk, etc.) of all processes in this control and to initiate improvement as required
Understands G Code and operate CNC programs (Can read a G-Code program and understands what the machine will do based on the code)
Conduct setting adjustments to multi-functional machines
Identifies and develops improvements to the processes in support of the company goals
Read metric and use basic measuring tools
Ensures a safe clean working environment
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of work related experience with a focal point in machining
Exposure to multiple industrial machining and manufacturing processes a must
Journeymen License is a plus
Logical hands-on problem solving skills
Analytical trouble shooting experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer skills
Works well in a team environment and ability to train operators
