[QA Inspector] Product Quality Inspector/ Machinist

6 months contract job possibly to hire for the right person - located in Clinton, TN

Product Quality Inspector
Basically someone who has a great deal of machine shop inspection experience, or even a machinist thatís willing to learn.
Mechanical Experience

Have a full understanding of design drawings and to apply that knowledge to validate machined parts.
Be able to read and understand assembly design drawings.
Have a basic understanding how mechanical assemblies work and guidelines for function testing, troubleshooting, etc.
Be able to use various measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, depth gages etc.
Experience in CAD and CMM programming is a plus, but not required.
Electrical Experience
Have a full understanding of assembly design drawings for cables and wire harnesses, or schematics and apply those skills to validate and / or troubleshoot product failures.
Electronics board experience is a plus, but not required.
Soldering experience is a plus, or at least be able to understand the variations and quality of solder joints.
Computer / People Skills
Have a basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and other functions of Microsoft Office.
Be able to communicate problems to suppliers, engineers, and management to resolve non-conformances found during receiving inspection process.
