OVERVIEW:
Work on Lab Work Requests as assigned by the Technical Manager. Assist with all R&D assignments including new product development, raw material replacement/consolidation, QC support and Production support.
ESSENIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work on Lab Work Requests with the assistance of the Technical Manager
Keep detailed records of all work in assigned Laboratory Notebook
Assist Production and QC as needed Maintain a clean work environment
Follow safety rules when working with hazardous materials, equipment or in hazardous environments.
Follow the guidelines and procedures outlined in the Quality Management System.
Any other jobs, as deemed necessary by management

EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
Ability to learn, retain and utilize past project work for future project work.
Ability to use the computer for product development and formula maintenance
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal laboratory environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials.
