Industrial Facilities Maintenance in Washington, IN. Facilities upkeep, mechanical troubleshooting, etc.
Plan details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required and develop a logical approach to correct the problem.
Document in detail on computer and paper what work was performed.
Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of material and principles of operation of electrical equipment.
Determine need for, analyze, and make necessary running adjustments, repairs, and overhauls.
Advise and caution operators and mechanics about potential problems
Perform work in accordance with all safety rules and regulations and plant policies and procedures.
At times, be part of a mechanical team on major installation, working with other trades, such as machinists and process employees.
On scheduled off-shift, may be called upon to do repairs in the process.
Perform other facilities maintenance duties as assigned.
