Our client manufactures silicone parts for various companies across different industries using injection mold machines. They have a production floor of 34 machines, plus two more in their cleanroom set up to produce parts for medical device companies.
They are hiring for a person with experience operating the injection mold machines. They have a separate team that will set up the machine for each specific product, the candidate will monitor the automated machine, troublshoot, load - but no set up. If they know how to set up, that would be a plus.
Start-up and shut-down of Injection Molding Machines and auxiliary equipment.
Inspection of product manufacturing according to control plan and work instructions.
Daily preventive maintenance on production equipment (mold, injection molding machine, chiller, plastic pallets dryer, temperature control unit, vacuum pump), etc.
Verify production process against documented process.
Keep the assigned injection molding machine clean and organized under the 5S System.
Report scrap and rejects in the IT system.
Create product labels in the IT system.
Assist in Secondary Operations as needed (post-cure, sorting), etc.
Check and restock the raw material (plastic pallet, master batch, silicone, silicone color, boxes, dividers, and trays), etc.
Wednesday to Saturday 6am to 4:30pm (Sunday to Tuesday off)

At least 3 years experience with injection mold or similar machinery
