Openings:17 Mornings $14.50 Nights $15.95 This role is a "Machine Attendant." They only deal with the product (shampoo bottle caps) that come out of the machine. There are many machines on the production floor, and the employee will oversee 2-3 at a time. Job Description: ATTENDING THE MACHINE: -They will STAND and watch the machine produce 1000's of plastic bottle caps -They will attend 2-3 machines making sure they stay running -If the machine goes down, they DO NOT touch the machine- they flag down their lead -The plastic caps fall into a bin that is on a scale, and once the scale reaches the desired weight, the machine pushes the full box away and replaces with an empty one -They will then tape the box shut, lift the box (20-50 lbs), and place it on a pallet -They will repeat the above steps until the pallet has reached the appropriate height -Once the pallet is full they will use a PALLET JACK to move the material to the other side of the production floor QUALITY/DOCUMENTATION: -Every 3-4 hours they will pull some plastics caps out of the bin they fall in, and do a VISUAL INSPECTION of the caps -They will look to ensure the parts don't have rough edges, are melted, or burned (called defects) -Any defected material is called SCRAP -They will fill out (on paper, and I think in Spanish is okay too) a SCRAP report and a DOWN time report every hour MORNING SHIFT (A/C) -630am to 630pm NIGHT SHIFT (B/D) -630pm to 630am

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST -Ability to stand for 12 hours -Ability to lift 20-50 lbs (once per hour) -Ability to work every other weekend and rotating schedule -Ability to adhere to GMP (full gown) attire and protocols -Ability to work in a work environment that is very loud -Ability to wear steel toed boots/ safety shoes for 12 hours NICE -Ability to speak and write English -Manufacturing experience -Warehouse experience -Packing experience -Pallet jack experience -Documentation experience BvA The best candidate will be bi-lingual, have worked a 12-hour rotating schedule, and with injection molding machines Disqualifer -Inability to do or commit to any of the MUST HAVES
