Medical Device Production Lead (JP-002016951)

Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies.

Coordinates all manufacturing line activities including labor and material allocation so that production standards are met. Ensures the accuracy of material and labor transactions into LN. Allocates labor based on skill level and employment status (perm/agency).

Adheres to daily production schedule and ensures that production goals are obtained. Ensures timely start-up, changeovers and shutdown.

Responsible for data integrity and timely tracking of all line measures (yield, scrap, downtime).

Ensures effective shift transition by clearly communicating with leads on all shifts regarding quality, personnel and equipment issues. Effectively communicates with all support groups (mechanics, engineers, warehouse personnel, quality control, chemistry, planning and management).

Complies with all QSRs.

Ensures that all manufacturing documents are reviewed and completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsible for maintaining department attendance records and reviewing employee time cards for accuracy.

Coordinates and participates in staff training. Ensures that training records are accurately maintained and current.

May write and participate in employee performance evaluations


Production, Medical, Cleanroom, Microscope, Supervision

Top Skills Details:

High School diploma or equivalent

Leadership training or experience. Ability to objectively evaluate performance and provide constructive criticism.

Experienced as a production/manufacturing leader

Must demonstrate knowledge of internal customer/supplier relationships in decision making

Demonstrates consistent and sound judgement

Knowledge of basic Excel and Word

Capable of running area in absence of supervisor
