Services, maintains, and tests new or changed dies.
Able to operate a variety of machine tools (i.e. TIG/MIG/Stick Welders, lathes, milling machines, drill press, etc.)
Verify conformance of machines or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances, and alignments.
Troubleshoot for problems during production.
Able to set up appropriate tools in the department.
Always follow safe work practices and company work procedures.
Assure work performed complies with QS9000 standards.
Maintain tooling Quality STDs and Preventative/ Predictive Maintenance program to ensure compliance with QS9000 Requirements.
Able to work overtime as required.
Perform other duties as required.

Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customer, and the general public.
Receive and pass down information written and verbal.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Tool and Die Maker with related experience/familiar with assembly tooling work.
Good hand dexterity, mechanical skills, mathematical skills and organizational skills.
Clinch tool experience is a preferred.
Metrology experience is required including ability to set-up tooling.
