Warehouse Associates will be responsible for doing all general warehouse duties needed. These include, picking orders, Kitting orders while they pick (aisle based system explained below), material handling using the forklift (they will be certified on site), using pallet jack while picking, using walking cart to fill product throughout the warehouse, general cleaning, and anything else needed.
The Kitter position starts in one spot on the warehouse and walks down two aisles to pick the product. Product is specifically organized from largest to smallest (largest on the bottom) so that the kitter is never moving in the opposite direction of another kitter. These "Kits" could have 60 pieces in them, and some pieces weigh up to 45 lbs. A "Kit" is pretty much a full pallet. They take up to 45 minutes to build. People need to be able to lift 45 lbs up to 3-4 times per kit.
