[Warehouse Worker] Packager

A Packer, or Picker Packer, is a warehouse employee responsible for fulfilling orders by arranging inventory in shipping containers and preparing them for shipment. Their duties include interpreting order invoices to determine which items need to be sent out, performing quality control assessments and stacking items safely and securely in the right packaging.

Once bulk parts and labels are received (from Packing Coordinator), determine order needs. Obtain the correct size of box for packaging the parts. Check warehouse for any partial boxes of parts. Fill boxes to appropriate quantity. This can be done by hand counting the parts or using a scale. Once boxes are filled, a bar code label is placed on the outside of the box. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.

-At least an 8th grade education.-Communication Skills-Ability to read and interpret documents-Mathematical Skills-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.-Ability to utilize measuring devices.-Specific Requirement Regular attendance
