PDS Tech, Inc. is hiring a Customer Property Compliance Associate in Vergennes, VT

Job Description:

  • The Customer Property Team supporting the Company, Mission Systems Business Unit based in Vergennes, Vermont has an opening for a self-motivated Customer Property Analyst who is a team player able to support company compliance to customer & government property requirements.
  • An ideal candidate will be a seasoned property management professional who is familiar with supporting all FAR property outcomes and government audits.
  • This person will work closely with the many site functions, our Government and Subcontract customers, the central property organization, and our internal stakeholders.
  • This position will be onsite supporting property management actions with flexibility to work remotely as work allows.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support all functions dealing with managing Government & Customer property
  • Assure compliance to contract requirements, regulations, and internal policies and procedures for managing customer property
  • Transactional activity and reporting for designated programs and/or activities
  • Interface with site leadership and functional personnel to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures
  • Support internal and third party assessments/audits and drive corrective actions identified resulting from those activities
  • Generate and/or provide accurate and timely property status reports and metrics for management and internal and external customers
  • Support physical inventory activities of customer property, including records reconciliation and reporting
  • Perform all property closeout activities including any disposition actions and/or loss of customer property reports for assigned programs
  • Schedule and work with Procurement to perform subcontractor audits, as assigned
  • Partner with Contract Management organization to ensure property management related requirements are executed for assigned contracts/programs
  • Assist the organization Business Unit Property Manager in supporting other sites where required
  • Routinely assess procedures and provide suggestions for streamlining and improving processes
  • Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements, and support EH&S efforts to improve practices
  • Comply with applicable Global Trade Compliance (GTC) policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Government Property Management experience preferred
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Government contracts
  • Physical inventory and material handling experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with SAP (or comparable ERP system) transactions; MS Office, MS SharePoint; Sunflower Asset Management System
  • Effective writing and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and drive change
  • Ability to review data with an analytical approach to identify process disconnects or potential system errors
