[Welder] Welder/Fabricator- Second Shift

This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 4pm – 2:00am, with occasional need for overtime shift coverage to meet customer needs.

Requirements:
US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Drug Free
High School diploma or GED
Communication across Shifts: The fabricator should foster effective communication between second shift and the day shift. This includes providing clear instructions, updates, and reports to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities and seamless workflow continuity.
Time Management and Prioritization: Given the unique challenges of night shift, the fabricator should have excellent time management skills to ensure production targets are met and prioritize tasks effectively.
A minimum of one to three (1-3) years of related fabrication experience in a heavy industrial environment utilizing SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding process
Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane
Must be willing and available to work overtime as required
Must be able to read engineering drawings in relation to fabrication and assembly with a high level of expertise and communicate with technical users of Jered LLC products
Demonstrate proper use of precision measurement tools and apply principles of Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T)
Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders,
Ability to pass a Skill Weld Evaluation Test
Preferred Qualifications

Technical School diploma
Mil-Spec knowledge and understanding
