We are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, specifically in welding steel and fabricating fire rated framing systems. This position will primarily be responsible for welding framing assemblies, as well as grinding and sanding welds to ensure a smooth finish. Additionally, experience in the installation of doors or window frames is preferred, as is familiarity with 5s principles.


Responsibilities:

- Welding framing assemblies according to specifications

- Grinding and sanding welds to achieve desired finish

- Assisting with fabrication and installation of fire rated framing systems

- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times

- Maintaining a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5s standards

- Collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion of projects


Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a manufacturing environment

- Proficiency in welding steel and fabricating metal structures

- Experience with the installation of doors or window frames is a plus

- Knowledge of 5s principles and experience implementing them in the workplace

- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols
