Industrial Preventative Maintenance Mechanic - Temp to perm

SWA is actively seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Mechanic for an open role in Orlando, FL!

Pay: $22 - $25 hr (based on experience)
Shift: M-Fri // 7a - 3 pm (off shifts, weekends, and OVT may be needed to complete repairs)

Consideration Requirements:

Must pass a criminal background check and hair follicle drug screening!
High school diploma/GED and Completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred
An equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience will be considered
4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience.
Some electrical controls experience with troubleshooting and correction.
Mechanic must be available and on site for any emergencies that may arise 24-7-365 such as machine breakdowns, power outages, weather, etc.

Duty Requirements:

CNC machine repairs and preventative maintenance.
Repair, install, and maintain electrical and mechanical components of machinery such as engines, motors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical systems, machine controls, and other aspects of production machines and equipment. The Maintenance
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility�s equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Understand and utilize lockout/tag-out equipment.
Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations and defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Actively participate and lead the safety team.
Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or any other member of the leadership team
All of these objectives must be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner while maintaining an acceptable level of quality and efficiency
