KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspects incoming materials to assure conformance to customer requirements and industry standards.
Verify product count and pack for shipping. Assure correct documentation and sign-off on all documents.
Issue proper material and release to the proper locations and/or jobs along with the proper documentation.
Prepare all shipping transactions which will include UPS/FedEx, LTL, international, etc. Package for shipping.
Prepare documentation for shipping including destinations, competes transactions in computer and packages materials
Data entry into computer and distribute parts to Quality team.
Respond to questions and interact with customers regarding shipping documentation.
Track shipments and returns, enter all information into systems;
Responsible for ensuring all data entry and transaction entries are accurate. Ensures all documentation to customer is accurate before shipping. Brings issues to attention of Supervisor or other key personnel

QUALIFICATIONS/JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional training or education is a plus.
Prior experience/knowledge/training in shipping, receiving and/or inventory control, use of scanners, including documentation requirements, in manufacturing environment is preferred.
Prior administrative experience required, including shipping documentation. Must be computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook, Epicor, and/or related programs.
Demonstrate ability to effectively and securely package all products.
Must have experience/ability to use micrometers, calipers, microscopes, gages, pins and/or optical comparator and other inspection equipment along with knowledge of the calibration system.
Manages time well and meets required deadlines. Must have excellent reading, writing, math and computer skills - Prior experience with Export, Fed-Ex, UPS and shipping guidelines and terms preferred.
Must have valid driver’s license, tow motor experience is a plus
Position requires standing, walking and sitting and may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
