POSITION OVERVIEW

This role involves fabricating, and repairing pressure vessels. The position covers all stages of the fabrication process, from planning and material selection to assembly and quality control, ensuring all components meet industry standards and safety requirements. The role also requires periodic travel to various job sites.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and schematics to build pressure vessels.

Prepare material for fabrication. Measure, cut, plasma cut, saw, grind, and weld various materials, such as, steel plate, steel pipe and pipe fitting.

Perform pressure vessel welding according to ASME code and ASC's approved ASME weld procedures to be inspected and certified.

Use of industrial machinery and tools.

Travel to customer sites, as required. Local, out-of-state, and on occasion overseas.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATIONAL, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


Must have 10+ years of 6G Stick welding experience.

Experience with MIG, TIG, and carbon arc welding is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Regular use of various hand-held and motorized tools/machinery is necessary.

Ability to stand for extended periods is common.

Normal hearing and vision are important.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Good manual dexterity is required.

Forklift and crane experience is necessary.

A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must be able to pass a background check.
