[Maintenance Technician] Sr. Facilities Technician up to $30/hr!!!

PPS is looking for a talented Sr. Facilities Technician to join us in Hillsboro, OR! The Sr. Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining buildings and facilities in a safe and appropriate manner. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure the reliability, access and safety of the buildings and facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and minor repairs to buildings and facilities
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on buildings and facilities
Conduct routine, non-licensed inspections of facilities including fire equipment and boilers
Ensure fire protection equipment is properly maintained and up to date
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to buildings and facilities including carpentry and painting
Coordinate licensed inspections as required
Coordinate major maintenance and repairs as required to mechanical systems, HVAC systems, boilers and generators
Advise the Manager of required major repairs or replacements
Ensure the safety and protection of buildings including ensuring doorways are not
blocked and that buildings and facilities are locked when not in use
Clean rooms maintenance
Quote major maintenance and repairs to outside contractors as needed, and manage the retained parties
Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications
Assist with administrative duties related to building maintenance
Assist in preparing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
Maintain inventory control over equipment and supplies
Assist in ordering replacement equipment and supplies
Assist in risk management activities
Maintain building maintenance logs and records
Perform other related duties as assigned
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

National and local building codes, regulations, etc.
Building construction and maintenance procedures
HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems
When to contact tradespersons to complete a task or repair
Experienced in obtaining/evaluating quotes received for bids on projects and managing external contractors
Inspection procedures
Workplace safety requirements and procedures including LOTO
Record keeping systems
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:
Ability to maintain buildings and facilities in a safe and responsible manner
Ability to operate required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
Analytical and problem solving skills
Decision making skills
Effective verbal and listening communications skills
Ability to read and write to maintain daily logs
Time management skills
Equipment/Systems:

RO/DI, Wastewater pre-treatment, ovens, kilns, vacuum bag sealers, hoists, acid scrubbers, boilers, pressure washers, AC motors, gear boxes, wire feed welders, robotics, magnetic pumps, diaphragm pumps, HVAC, ultrasonics, cleanrooms, overhead doors, ozone generators, blast cabinets, compressors, air dryers, generators, building lighting, building plumbing, drywall, painting, asphalt roofing.

Educational/Experience Requirement:

High school or tech school education and 3 years of factory related experience in a maintenance environment.
6 - 8 years facility maintenance experience in facilities 100K sq/ft or larger preferably a manufacturing facility
Experience with clean rooms highly desired.
