Job Description

As a Welder and Fabricator, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, specifications, and diagrams. You will layout, fit, and fabricate based on blueprints, and have the ability to read, understand, and follow all welding procedures. You will inspect welds for accuracy and be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Responsibilities
* Interpret blueprints, specifications, and diagrams for fabrication tasks.
* Layout, fit, and fabricate materials based on blueprints.
* Understand and apply welding procedures effectively.
* Inspect welds to ensure accuracy and quality.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols.
* Perform MIG welding in all positions

Essential Skills
* Proficiency in fabrication and blueprint interpretation.
* Strong skills in welding techniques including MIG and TIG.
* Ability to fit and fabricate with precision.
* Understanding of weld symbols and engineering drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with flux core and structural welding.
* Knowledge of stainless steel, mild steel, and carbon steel welding.
* Familiarity with hand tools, tape measures, and grinding equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Asheville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
