Job Description

Bagger Operators are integral to the manual processes of filling, sealing, labeling, loading, and stacking bags of processed crop seed onto pallets. They are also responsible for transporting these pallets using a fork truck to the designated onsite locations. It is essential to maintain general quality checks and uphold a safe and clean work environment.

This is a 3rd shift position with core hours of 11PM-7AM Sunday through Thursday, overtime is frequently available and occasionally required.

Responsibilities
* Operate fork truck to transport pallets to designated locations (training and certification provided if needed).
* Fill, seal, label, load, and stack bags of processed crop seed.
* Perform general quality checks to ensure standards are met.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Lift 40-60 lbs independently throughout the shift.
* Climb 70-80 ft ladders as necessary, especially when assisting with grain elevator operations during warmer months.

Essential Skills
* Willingness to learn or previous experience in operating a forklift.
* Ability to lift 40-50 lbs independently throughout the shift.
* Capability to climb 70 ft ladders independently during the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Previous fork truck experience is advantageous.
* Experience in manufacturing, distribution, automotive, or agricultural roles is preferred.

Work Environment

The facility is not temperature-controlled but is fully enclosed. Employees will engage in some outdoor work, particularly during warmer months. All bagging and processing operations are conducted indoors. Large fans are available for summer, and extra breaks are provided in extreme conditions to ensure safety. The work environment is lively, with country music playing throughout the facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
