Location: Pit Meadows, BC

Pay Rate: $25-30/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3PM or 7:30AM-4PM

Job Description

This is a hands-on maintenance role supporting a growing manufacturing facility. This position is considered critical to sustaining plant operations. The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative team and work alongside existing technicians.

Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs of metal stamping presses, drilling, and milling machines.
* Troubleshoot and service electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
* Conduct routine building and service maintenance tasks.
* Access rooftops occasionally using scissor lifts (no ladder work involved).
* Document maintenance activities and communicate effectively with team members.

Essential Skills
* 2-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance.
* Proficiency in maintenance repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
* Basic knowledge of 12480V electrical systems and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
* Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Physical capability for heavy lifting.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Possession of own tools (company may supplement post-hire).

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with welding.
* Understanding of schematics and blueprints.
* Nice to have certifications: Fall protection, WHMIS, and forklift tickets (training can be arranged).
* Willingness to learn ERP/SAP systems.
* Ability to work independently and demonstrate patience.
