Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to efficiently manage the movement and organization of materials in our facility. The role involves operating forklifts and overhead cranes, unloading trucks, checking in shipments, managing paperwork, organizing materials, deburring parts, and handling large steel beams.

Responsibilities
* Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move and organize materials.
* Unload trucks and check in shipments accurately.
* Maintain and organize paperwork related to shipments and materials.
* Deburr parts and handle large steel beams efficiently.
* Ensure proper material handling and location within the facility.

Essential Skills
* 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
* 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience.
* 2+ years of material handling experience.
* 1+ year of overhead crane experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* 1+ year of shipping experience is a plus.
* 1+ year of steel manufacturing experience is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is not temperature controlled or well-lit, but improvements are underway. Employees work on the first shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of Racine, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
