Full-Time Plant Millwright / Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Troy, AL

Stable Year-Round Employment – Not Shutdown or Contract Work


Rex Lumber is seeking experienced Millwrights / Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support sawmill operations in a high-production industrial environment. This is a permanent plant position offering steady work and full benefits.


Responsibilities include:


• Troubleshooting and repairing industrial mechanical systems

• Maintaining gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, and rotating equipment

• Working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance

• Welding and fabrication (preferred)

• Equipment installation and alignment


Available Shifts:

1st Shift

2nd Shift

Weekend Shift


Overtime available based on operational needs.


Requirements:

• Industrial maintenance or millwright experience

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
