Job Description
* The loader operator will work in the yard of a production facility handling structural steel components.
* This role requires operating overhead cranes and front-end loaders to safely move, organize, and load steel beams, columns, and plates, often measuring 20-25+ ft long, onto flat-bed trailers.
* Ensuring accurate loading based on packing slips and utilizing dunnage, strapping, and rigging to secure loads while maintaining safety protocols in a fast-paced environment is essential. The majority of the work will be conducted outdoors.

Responsibilities
* Operate overhead cranes and front-end loaders to move structural steel components.
* Organize and load steel beams, columns, and plates onto flat-bed trailers.
* Ensure accurate loading based on packing slips.
* Utilize dunnage, strapping, and rigging to secure loads.
* Maintain safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating loaders.
* Experience loading and unloading flatbed trucks.
* Experience working in a production environment and yard.
* Overhead Crane Operation - ticket preferred.

Shifts are from Monday to Thursday, 6 am-4 pm, and Friday, 6:30 am-2:45 pm
