What Youll Do

* Lead onsite equipment startups, commissioning, and optimization of mechanical and electrical systems
* Perform detailed equipment inspections, installation verification, and operational readiness checks
* Collect, analyze, and document performance data during testing to ensure optimal efficiency
* Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on fielddeployed equipment
* Work collaboratively with contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to meet installation timelines
* Produce clear technical reports, documentation, and punch lists for project closeouts

Required Qualifications

* Experience in engineering, industrial maintenance, or technical services (degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted)
* 2+ years of field service experience with mechanical and electrical systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
* Knowledge of control panels, motor starters, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation
* Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build rapport with customers
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable with extensive travel (up to 75%), including extended project assignments

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and operator interface terminals
* Experience with high-speed rotating equipment or industrial processing systems
