Join our team as a 2nd Shift Production Worker, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring products are properly packaged and stacked. The position operates from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm with potential for schedule variations. Be part of a dynamic production environment, contributing to the success of our operations.
Responsibilities
* Inspect and hand stack cases on skids or mods using the specified stacking pattern.
* Shrink wrap skids from top to bottom without placing shrink wrap on the floor.
* Notify the Operator or Supervisor of any problems or concerns.
* Prepare and clean the work area, ensuring it is organized.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and replace tape on tape machines while wearing Kevlar gloves.
* Feed boards into the Extruder with perfect alignment, removing any imperfections.
* Disassemble, clean, and reassemble extruders as needed, following all safety procedures.
* Perform screen checks and provide relief crew coverage as required.
* Engage in physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and cleaning to maintain productivity.
Essential Skills
* Proficiency in the English language.
* Good time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
* Knowledge of lockout procedures.
* Metal Sprint Team Training.
* Experience in machine disassembly and reassembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proper use of safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
* Ability to identify damaged or dirty boards and candy.

Work Environment
Work is conducted in a climate-controlled food manufacturing plant with slippery and wet floors. Employees must wear company-issued uniforms, ear plugs, bump caps, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and slip-resistant safety toe shoes. The commitment period is 6 months, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
