1st Shift - Hand Stacker (JP-005818514)

We are seeking a dedicated Hand Stacker to join our team on the 1st Shift from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves ensuring that cases of products are correctly packaged, stacked on pallets, and meet all quality standards. The Hand Stacker will work in a climate-controlled food manufacturing plant and may be required to work overtime, up to a maximum of 12 hours per day, and potentially up to 7 days a week.
Responsibilities
* Inspect and hand stack cases on skids or mods of like products using stacking pattern as a guide.
* Shrink wrap skids from top to bottom, ensuring shrink wrap does not sit on the floor.
* Notify the Operator/Supervisor of any problems or concerns.
* Prepare and clean the work area, including organizing and monitoring equipment.
* Troubleshoot and replace tape on tape machines using Kevlar gloves.
* Perform repetitive tasks such as lifting cases weighing up to 60 lbs at a rate of 12 cases per minute.
* Clean and organize the work area by sweeping and picking up debris.

Essential Skills
* Understanding of all lockout procedures.
* Proficiency in the English language.
* Good time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proper use of company-issued safety gear including uniforms, ear plugs, bump caps, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and slip-resistant safety toe shoes.
* Understanding and adherence to product requirements.
* Participation in stretches before and during the shift.
* Training and assisting team members.
* Performing other duties as directed and required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
