Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating complex or precision processes, testing products using equipment like Network Analyzers, and providing technical support to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals. You will resolve production issues through root-cause analysis, build and test engineering samples and prototypes, and participate in continuous improvement activities. Additionally, you will oversee R&D production runs, develop and update work instructions, and maintain related documentation.

Responsibilities
* Set up and operate complex or precision processes as assigned.
* Test products using equipment such as Network Analyzers.
* Provide technical support and oversight to production to meet quality, cost, and on-time delivery goals.
* Resolve production issues using root-cause analysis and establish corrective actions.
* Build and test engineering samples and prototypes.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities related to production processes.
* Oversee R&D production runs to validate manufacturing processes.
* Develop, maintain, and update work instructions and other related documentation.

Essential Skills
* Proficiency in assembly and use of hand tools.
* Experience in electronics testing and blueprint reading.
* Strong troubleshooting capabilities in a manufacturing environment.
* Technical writing skills.
* Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
* Ability to perform root-cause analysis.
* ERP system experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools is preferred.
* Technical writing experience is preferred.
* Formal problem-solving training such as RCA, PDCA, 8D is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, temperature-controlled, and well-organized with a cafeteria area. Various cell areas handle different aspects such as CNC Swiss Machining, Plating, Assembly, Semi Rigid, Utiflex, Inspection, and warehouse operations. Important information is displayed on screens throughout the facility to keep everyone informed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
