Job Summary
The Setup Machinist I is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and grinders, to ensure production meets quality and safety standards. This role involves performing required quality checks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to all safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Set up CNC machines for production runs, including mills, lathes, and grinders

Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications

Perform all required quality checks on completed parts

Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Perform additional tasks as assigned related to machine setup and operation

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience setting up CNC mills, lathes, or grinders

Ability to perform quality checks and verify parts meet specifications

Knowledge of 5S and workplace safety practices

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Work Experience

Experience setting up and operating CNC machines
