Review engineering drawings, instructions, blueprints and make suggestions for fixturing and hitting tolerances and other prototype and producibility objectives.
Program, set-up and operate 3, 4, & 5 axis milling centers.
Program, set-up and operate CNC turning centers with live tooling and C axis.
Program, set-up and operate CNC turning centers with live tooling, twin turret, twin spindle, with bar feeder.
Hold tight tolerances.
Inspect machined parts using calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, dial indicators and other basic inspection equipment.
Other duties as assigned include assisting in inspection, precision assembly, or preparing time/material cost worksheets for new job estimates.
Set-up and breakdown of machinery and selection/procurement/assembly of tooling.
