Overview
We are hiring a Traveling Electrical Maintenance Technician to support multiple FedEx distribution facilities across the region. This role is primarily electrical, with a strong focus on three ‐ phase wiring, 480V motor work, frequency drives, and electrical troubleshooting on conveyor and material ‐ handling equipment. Mechanical maintenance is still part of the job, but the manager is specifically seeking someone with industrial electrical depth who can travel daily to different customer sites.This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys autonomy, problem ‐ solving, and working in fast ‐ paced distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical (Primary Focus)

Troubleshoot and repair three ‐ phase electrical systems, including 480V motors, motor starters, VFDs, and control circuits
Diagnose electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings (including 3 ‐ wire start/stop circuits and lighting circuits)
Work with 110V–480V systems, relays, timers, switches, contactors, and overloads
Identify issues in circuits where proper phase ‐ to ‐ phase power is required (e.g., 480V lighting or motor circuits)
