We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to perform electro-mechanical assembly on specialized gauges and devices used in manufacturing facilities. The role involves assembling machines that, for example, assess the salt content in potato chips on a conveyor belt and identify moisture levels on a football field or construction site. This position requires the use of oscilloscopes and volt meters for electronic troubleshooting and testing, as well as the mechanical and electrical assembly of lasers and inspection devices.
Responsibilities
* Perform electro-mechanical assembly on specialized gauges and devices.
* Assemble machines that assess salt content in potato chips and moisture levels on various surfaces.
* Utilize oscilloscopes and volt meters for electronic troubleshooting and testing.
* Operate transmitters and receivers.
* Conduct mechanical and electrical assembly of lasers and inspection devices.
* Work with voltage levels ranging from 16-48V and 120V-480V.

Essential Skills
* Proficiency with electronics, oscilloscopes, and digital volt meters.
* Experience in electronic assembly, troubleshooting, and testing.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work prints.
* Skill in small part inspection and schematic interpretation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Soldering skills.
* Electrical experience.
* Competency in wire crimping.
* Experience in PCB board assembly and testing.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, organized, climate-controlled, and well-lit. Technicians perform sit-down, individual bench assembly, and testing work, with opportunities for growth. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with minimal overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
