Job Description

Assemble products and operate equipment safely, productively, and ergonomically to manufacture quality parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities
* Assemble, package, and label products.
* Operate equipment and tools such as impact wrenches, drills, mallets, screwdrivers, and pneumatic rivet guns.
* Maintain a continuous level of productivity with supervision.
* Ensure the production of quality finished goods with acceptable workmanship and minimal quality issues.
* Maintain assembly jigs, hand tools, and equipment in good working order.
* Possess basic product knowledge to identify correct components such as wheels, model numbers, bearings, nuts, and bolts.
* Keep a clean and organized workplace by properly storing tools and hardware, sweeping floors, and disposing of trash appropriately.
* Notify Production Supervisor of tools needing repair, low inventory of daily use items, and poor-quality products.
* Accurately read assembly drawings for dimensions, parts lists, assembly instructions, and CTQs.
* Perform tasks safely, including wearing safety glasses and gloves as per JHA requirements.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills
* Experience in manufacturing assembly is preferred.
* Ability to read a tape measure in fractions and decimals.
* Knowledge of packaging, assembly, labeling, and packing.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and general labor tasks.
* Ability to read blueprints and schematics for assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Order picking and warehouse operation experience.
* General production skills.
* Ability to maintain a clean and organized workplace.

Shifts Available

6:00am - 2:30pm

2:30pm - 11:00pm

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled and can be loud. Safety gear such as safety glasses and gloves are required as per job safety requirements.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.47 - $19.47/hr.
